ok so today was really but really fed up with this encoder jittering that i decided to follow the steps . although its for a ESX it worked on my EMX. A few steps are different on an emx you have 2 screws to get the ribbon off and dont forget the small ribbon attached to the board (which is the ...

I had the same problem, and the solution worked beautifully. That said . . . before you go and take the entire deck apart, try only pulling the rotary encoder knob off and spraying some circuit board/contact cleaner in there to knock some of the dust off. (You'll have to remove that knob anyway to ...

Korg EMX rotary encoder problem

Hi everybody. I own a korg electribe mx and i've been having this problem with the rotary encoder that skips values and when you spin in forward the values go back. I've done some research around the forum and found some people have had this problem with the korg esx. Will this solution work on the ...

Another thing i forgot to say :
these valves turn your output volume a bit down but i can assure you when you use tube gain almost all the way up it nearly doesn't distort anything.

Yeah for now all it's left is to make some songs. I made a full album back in 2010-2012 with my old electribe if you guys wanna hear its ...

Got the new tubes. The sound is more defined , clear , brighter and not only it sounds like my old electribe but it sounds much better than with those ruby tubes. . JJ ECC803S definatly brought a breath of fresh air to my emx. I'm really happy for them and thanks everybody for recommending these ...

I actually love the current E2 for what it is and its limitations. Always fun to mess with the crappy voice pcms to make something new. I think it has its own "sound" and while having other gear on the side, I like to limit myself and try come up with smth only by using 1 box. But hey this was the ...

guys, you're reading waaay too much into this and really, let's just give up on thinking someone is developing the current electribes. A new, gold one? Really that's laughable. Btw, someone in this thread https://www.muffwiggler.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=170484 is suggesting that it's PolySix and ...

I've also owned more than one EMX1SD and IMO alternative tubes can make a difference to the sound, from what I've heard. So it could be that. The original Harmonix tubes should be not too hard to source, so you could try replacing them and seeing if that helps. Please let us know how you get on, if ...

EMX1 SM & EMX1 SD = Difference in sound

Hi everybody . I owned an Electribe EMX1 SM back in 2010 to 2012 and unfortunatly i was forced to sell it. This year i managed to get another one back and it wasn't easy since most people sell this electribe for a high price because the electribe 2 came out and korg stopped doing these which i think ...
