How does the M3 hold up in 2022?

Hey! I've had a M3 73 since forever, but it's been collecting dust for years (not really, it's safely stored in a bag of course). I used it for band gigs etc., and didn't really bother with its actual functions and potential beyond picking a sound and play. That's what I wanna do going forward, so I ...

Any way to transfer the sounds/libraries to a computer?

I have a Korg M3, and I want to have all of the M3's sounds on my computer to be used in a DAW with a MIDI controller (like loading up the plugin editor and use it as I would use NI Kontakt etc.). If the only connection between the M3 and the computer is USB then you won't hear any sound on the computers speakers. The M3 USB connection is for MIDI only, no audio is sent. You can send the audio using the 1/4 inch outputs, SPDIF, or FireWire (if FireWire board is installed). You will also need ...

No playback sound using M3 Plug-in Editor with Cubase

I'm currently trying to record in Cubase Pro 8 using my M3 via USB. I've installed the M3 MIDI plug-in. When I record, it shows the MIDI notes being recorded, but when playing it back, there is no sound. Am I missing something obvious? While recording, I'm using headphones which goes directly to the ...
