No there isn't. Korg operates under the impression that MIDI sync, which has been around for about 35 years, isn't important or useful to music makers in the 21st Century.

Just adding my voice to the appalling chorus... Why would such fantastic synths, apps that Korg continues to profit from, not support something so basic as MIDI sync? WIST is nowhere. Ableton Link is out there. C'mon Korg, get into the 21st Century! MIDI Sync has been a thing for, like, 35 years ...

Korg is selling the MS20 software for $25 USD. There are advantages to using the Controller and the software (polyphonic, saving patches, multiple instances in a DAW, etc). Plus the Controller can be used for other synths, Korg or otherwise.

What uses are people making of the External Signal Processor, since we can't patch external audio into it?

I can patch NOISE into it. I can also patch the SIGNAL OUT into it for some chaotic effects.

The MS20 software is still being sold, and presumably supported. Please, KORG, redesign the MS20 Edit screen! The scrolling is just silly, and really annoying.

Thanks Pedro, this is good information. I don't use ProTools for musical compositions, so not a problem for me, but I know others who do.

Yes, it is compatible. The latest Korg USB driver, which seems to be universally functional for all their gear, works with OSX 10.8.5.

I suppose this means the ic Controller isn't Class Compliant (else a driver would be unnecessary).

Is the MS20ic controller Class Compliant?
Is anyone using it with recent versions of OSX? I'm in Mountain Lion (old, I know). I intend to upgrade my OS soon, but I also want to buy one of these controllers.
