Love my PA700, but it always boots into Style Mode Modern Ballad.
Can you choose to boot into Sound Mode with a selected voice, to save changing to your favorite sound every time on start up ?

Is it possible to import the styles from either or both the new i3 or the EK50-L keyboards to play on the PA700 ? Anyone had any luck trying this ? The factory styles can be downloaded from the Korg site.

Thanks - yes found the setting on midi page 1 checkbox "local control on" Uncheck that box and we have sustain triggered from the SV1. I've only had the Krome For a short while and I'm still getting familiar with it.

I'm triggering my Krome 61 from my SV1 - 88 via midi out and merging the sounds to get a rich piano/ strings mix. But the Krome isn't responding to the damper/sustain pedal connected to the SV1. Can the SV1 transmit sustain via midi to the Krome ? What am I doing wrong ?

Thanks for your response, very comprehensive I must say ! I'm still delving into the editing capabilities on my PA700 and some of the procedures are a bit bewildering. I'll try this edit today and post the results either way it goes.

I can't figure out where or if you can change the type of break in any given style? I've saved a style to my user bank, but the break is not suitable as it ends in a cymbal crash ! There must be a way of changing the type of break that occurs when you hit the break button ?

In my 700 if I am within a page in Global mode pressing Menu takes me back to the Global selection screen. I do not see what is wrong with this action. Yes its quirky but once known it should not be an issue., its typical of Korgs use of Klingon programming. Thank you, yes the Menu button will ...

Unless I'm mistaken, it seems once you activate a page from within the Global Mode, there no going back to the main Global Mode screen ? Am I missing something here ? The manual says a reboot us required ? Surely this can't be the case ? once you exit Global and then go back to Global there are only ...

I'm pretty happy with the factory styles on my Pa700, and I've downloaded the Pa600 styles from Korg bonusware, but are these older styles any advantage or better than the factory styles ? Not sure if I want to risk trying to load them... Any thoughts ?

When I've done this I've put the program into a combi and detuned the program in there. It was easier to do this and have it on my setlist than to have to detune the whole board in 'Global' and then remember to retune it. Any one having problems with the latest update on Kronos 1 ? I've been updating with no problems until this latest version, and I can't get the update to install. Getting an error message after I try to install. Update is from Korg site and on a USB formatted in 32 bit as required. Any help ...
