Just means there's no SSL/other encryption of data between your computer and this site. So the data you type in is sent as-is (in the clear), which means a rogue server between the two computers could read your data.

(Whether or not there's nything valuable to a hacker is another question.)

The pricing at the site seems to be much less. http://www.deckardsdream.com/shop That's a lot better. Regards Sharp. No it isn't. Have a closer read. And the extra cost for a built version over the kit version (where you need to source almost all of the components) is fine. 12 PCBs built and tested ...

As you're updating this old thread, maybe this is useful: I've sold two EXB-MOSS boards on Ebay in the last few months: both went for £275-285. There's still solid demand for them. (For me, they came fitted in two synths - a used Karma and Triton I bought late last year. Selling the MOSS boards, ...

Surely the point of the OS choice was that Korg knew it would never have to pay anyone for Linux? Just some developer $$ to add the little bit of secret sauce.

At least they did a better job than Roland did with the VariOS.

Fantastic work. I'd love to build a desktop version if you decide to make boards/etc available?

Is there any crosstalk/oscillation issue when bringing so many signals to the patch panel?

You realize I'm referring to the AR interface, not the DeepMind12 itself? A while ago Uli Behringer mentioned the possibility of developing a separate controller for the DeepMind since it lacks a one knob per function interface and requires menu diving. If this turns out to be the interface ...

Oh Lord, won't you buy me a Behringer synth
My friends all play Junos, I must make amends
Been digital since the '80s, no help from my friends
But Lord, make sure it's got wooden cheek-ends.

Nor did I, but whatever system my Dell laptop uses for audio interfered with the file transfer. Sent the same WAV to my phone, connected that by stereo cable and the phone sent it correctly and all was well.
