Does anyone know where I can get a replacement fan for the kronos 2 88? The manufacturer doesnt have any available until November! Wtf?[/list]

Hmmm same thing. This is the kronos2 that im working with. I held the buttons down in the given order but no black screen popped up. I held the sequence again and the color came back!

Hey thanks I tried that but it only erased the color scheme in set list mode. Do i hold these buttons down while it powers up or Im I supposed to be in a certain mode like Combi or program?

Sweetwatet is contacting Korg to see if they can peovide any assistance on the issue. Hopefully I'll hear something by Monday. Kronos 2 in which I purchased in January 2015!

Yes ot can be a heater here in fla. I always keep my gear out of direct sunlight and have a shop fan dedicated for my keyboards. Humidity is also an unstoppable factor. Yeah im using agood power conditioner. I trid to bsck my files up but theKronos doesnt read the externsl hard drive now. I got a new message today saying thst a problem was detected possibly from power cycling too quickly! Turn it off wsit wo secs etc! Weeeee#

I called my contact at Sweetwater who patched me through to the service tech. They only heard of one similar issue and said to try reinstalling the latest firmware. I didand left the unit on for about an hour. No issues. Played the next gig that same night and it seized up on me again twice.

Thanks you Norm C. I checked it out and he has some good stuff. Oddly enough i have nade my own sound banks vwry similar in the Yamaha motif platform! However I just cant quite figure out the Kronos yet due to performance schedules. I'll figure it out
