At this point I use two different computer free live rigs. While composing & recording at both there comes a moment when I like to include a tablet or a laptop to make the creative process more smooth, although it would also be possible to do without. With a DAW it's just faster and much more fun ...

One more thing: how is your hardware connected? You said it's hooked up by an audio interface? Probably with an MIDI cable (circular connectors)? It is best to use a USB cable between the Kross and your PC, the user manual explicitly recommends a USB cable not a MIDI cable. Please note that no sound ...

Hi George, I had a similar issue myself, I think it has to do with the fact how Windows manages MIDI devices. Each MIDI device you install gets a consecutive order number, the last device you install gets on the end of the row. The Korg driver needs to be at the beginning of your MIDI devices list ...

I hear a lot of complaints about the Kross 88 keyboard. The 88-keys keyboard was the main reason for me to get the Kross anyway. I tried many different 88-keybeds including the best Fatar and Studiologic out there. I found them too hard to play for anything else than the grand pianos. IMO Kross 88 ...

There is a excellent software by Fabrizio Poce which can manage your presets and do many other great things which include unlocking some new Volca features. The price for the package is 8€, I use it and can highly recommend it. There is a s ...

While some audio interfaces will work as mixers and/or line signal providers there is a simpler way to achieve what you want as voip already suggested: you need a simple preamp, like Behringer MIC100 that you can plug a guitar or mic in and the output signal will be for good recording or sending ...

Can't see fotos compatilhados, the folder is empty. I found my Kross 88 exceptionally well built, the keybed is really nice and all the other buttons & switches cosmetics was proper as expected in this price range. Only the box that came with had a funny smell, but I got rid of that quickly. If the ...

Price increase? It's the rule of the capitalist market, probably demand and supply are not in equal terms. Anyway, if you look at the competition, Kross still after 2 years is a very good and capable instrument. Well worth the 500 quid. Off course you can wait another 2 years until the price drops ...

Mason, you don't even need a computer or cable to record your music. Kross can record whatever you are playing directly and save it as audio-file to SD-card. Then you put the SD-card into the computer and copy those audio files over (just like when downloading photos from the digital camera). The ...
