Dotted eight-note delay on KP3?

One of my favorite things is a ping pong delay tempo-synced to dotted eight notes. Try as I might, I cannot get my KP3 to exhibit this timing no matter which delay I try or how I put my finger on the pad. Is there some other setting (clock divisions?) that will allow this? Or is it just impossible?

Progress: I figured out how to set up the KP3 so that each time I press a key on the JD-Xi the sample on the KP retriggers from the beginning and plays through one time. Would be nice if the sample played only as long as I kept the key depressed, but I can live with it like this. Still one last ...

I guess to put it another way:

What are the settings required on the KP3 to allow an external keyboard to play the internal samples, starting from the beginning of the sample every time a key is depressed and playing the sample for only as long as the key is held?

Triggering samples in the KP3 using an external keyboard

So I checked the KP3 I recently bought, it's up to date on firmware 2.0. I explored all the sample trigger options with the pads, settling on the one that allows retriggering of samples from the beginning every time you press a pad, regardless of clock. I did this because I wanted to trigger the ...

Does the Trinity sequencer have swing/shuffle?

Does the Trinity sequencer have swing/shuffle? I looked through the manual but did not see any mention of it.

Use Sequencer to Change Timbres Within a Patch?

Lately I've been sequencing four timbres independently/simultaneously within a patch on my Radias. But now I want to change one of the four timbres via the sequencer and leave the others unaffected. Is there a MIDI CC (I checked the manual, didn't see it) that I can send to the Radias to change a ...

Thanks OpAmp, I tried your solution and it works like a charm. Not a big deal to go into keyboard mode and trigger that first note - it stays on for the entire session!

Thanks, but I have already carefully considered all the options, including what you recommend, and for my configuration a USB MIDI connection is ideal.

Radias USB MIDI on Linux?

Has anybody here been able to send USB MIDI data to their Radias on Linux? I'd like to do this, and am wondering if there is a precedent. I did find this thread on an Ubuntu list:

Radias External Audio Without Key Trigger?

Is there a way to set up the Radias' OSC1 external audio input so that a key press is not required to process external audio? I have the audio output of a Bass Station II running through my Radias. If I have the BSII MIDI out connected to the MIDI in of the Radias, both the BSII and the Radias ...

I figured out what I was doing wrong: 1) It's not enough to turn the sequencer off (on button) for a timbre. In addition to pressing the on button you also have to deselect the sequencer using the select button. I wasn't doing the latter. And you said as much in your reply, OpAmp, thanks! 2) However ...

Step Sequencer MIDI Channel?

I'm still in the learning phase with my new (to me) Radias, and I'm having problems with the step sequencer. I created a new patch with three timbres in it, and assigned a different MIDI channel to each timbre. Works like a charm when I cycle through MIDI channels on my keyboard controller, each ...

Just saw this tip in another thread, figured I'd post it here so other Radias users could take advantage. 1. Set OSC1 to DRUM PCM 2. Set OSC1 control 2 to WaveSel: 025 (SD- Syn3) 3. Set Patch 01 -> Source: Keytrack / Dest: OSC1Ctrl2 4. Set the intensity of the patch to: +14 5. Set the Keyboard ...
