Okay..... the problem is solved... the Virus rocksssss!!!!!!!!!!!!! This is my first "real" synth, after 25 years of making music I finally got what I was looking for since the 80s.... :D I just made a first project with several Virus tracks... and already now I can tell that this thingy gives me ...

...money money money.... which I don't have :) If I had enough money, I would also get the Radias, *and* a new PC. For the price of the Polar, I can get the Desktop version and a new PC, and if I would have enough space in my room, I could get me the keyboard version. So I thought the Polar was a ...

It's here!!!! Payed the price... unpacked... made big eyes... installed everything... played. Overwhelming piece!!! *Now* I know what a synthesizer is. Then tried out the use as plugin in Cubase. Not overwhelmed, maybe not really pre-informed about this. It's stable by now, but: Only one instance ...

But to be complete...
I had the same plastic impression about the Prodyssey.
So you might not have the same problem :)

Yeah, I was quite disappointed about the Creamware Pro12 ASB. Maybe cos I had other expectations, mostly cos I have only read good stuff about it online. Be aware that I have no comparison to the "Original", so my ears got to know it without this aspect. It sounded very plastic-like to my ears ...

Here I am again with the typo in my username, but I'll go on with it, lol... What's new: I ordered the Virus TI today! (The Polar) After some years of searching and saving and wondering, I finally made a choice and hope this time it' the right one, after I was disappointed by the Creamware Pro12 and ...

Yeah, well at least at the acoustic instruments side. The Triton is also good for Pads and Mallet, but has a baaaad piano sound. While the Kurzweil has the best piano sound out there (imho), and baaaad synth sounds. And either have "real" synth sounds, so I also need a "real" Synth ;)) Using the ...

Hehehe :) Pads, yeah, need them, love them, especially warm ones. Thought the virus would be good for it... but well, I am still having VSTis. But for stage? hrmm. Yay, I need yet another synth :P (and money. and/or a job.) My family is already *now* shaking its heads about how many keyboards I have ...

Well, I like the sound of the microKorg a lot. It's just the interface that annoys me. Radias has more knobs, direct access to all essential parameters, where the microKorg is all about reading the table. But well like you said.... I will order the Radias from Thomann, so I can return it within 30 ...

So would you say the Virus is easier to get into, once bought? :) I mean... what I can tell from my experiences is that I gave up early on getting deeper into synths, such as: microKorg (because of the interface and the 2 knobs and so on) micron (stepping through the menus) Though, I turned a lot of ...

Hey again, thanks for the first replies :) I was in Music Store yesterday and tested both again. And yeah, I WANT both. Radias really was fun to play on, though I also noticed that it kind of misses some soil. Exactly that I found at the Virus. God, I love them both. I really believe they'll fit ...

Hey people, I just registered to this forum because of this thread... :D I am in expectation of enough money to buy *either* the Virus (key version) *or* the Radias, and I would love to have them both :S So: I can't decide in all the sleepless nights I'm having rightnow and thought someone might be ...
