How the S2 deals with slices is really nice. Again, much better than the ESX. Using the trick from the ESX, if you make a kick drum sample that has 10-15 separate kicks in it back to back, then slice it up. Instead of having to select the sample, then go into sample edit mode, you simply scroll to ...

It's confirmed on 3 machines. Very, very few people would encounter it during normal use, but it's there. If you change a sample while its playing, it will lag. It's only noticeable on 16th notes, like hats. The first note will hit perfect, then the 8/16 and 12/16 are off before they line up again ...

Oh, Trust me. I love the thing. Just trying to figure out if anyone else has seen the behavior. Only a mad, PA savant like Rudiman would even attempt to change the samples on a pad during a live set. But if it's caused by loading 48kHz samples, like their site suggest you should, instead of 44.1 ...

Re: Some questions about the Electribe Sampler (ES2)
1. Right away, on page 5, it tells me that editing of the motion sequence is possible in the Step Edit menu. Who here decided that this was no longer an option? Am I missing something, and it is limited in some way? Is this not possible on the E2? 2. Someone in a different thread was stoked about ...

BEWARE Sampler Lag Problem? Can Anyone Confirm?
There might be a HUGE problem. I've only got a few hours into my Sampler, and have not yet loaded any user samples. Last night Shawn Rudiman from Detroit Techno Militia posted on facebook that with user samples loaded and running on all 16 parts, if you scroll through oscillator selections while ...

Haterz Gonna Hate
I got my sampler last night and put maybe an hour of play time into it. I'll say right off the bat, that anyone who says this iteration of the Electribe Sampler is subpar to the ESX is simply trying to get a rise out of you guys, or doesn't own one. The modulation section alone, with its 72 presets ...

New Electribe Sampler User Tip/Tricks
Since most of the threads here related to the new sampler are just soapboxes to discuss whether it's garbage, or brilliant. I thought I would start this one to discuss tips and tricks that owners of the new sampler have figured out. My sampler arrives in a few hours, and I plan on enjoying using it ...
