lol@menu diving...the E2 isn't even bad compared to tons of other gear out there and from what I remember of my other electribes (ESX, ES1, ER1) it doesn't feel obnoxious at all in comparison. It has far more options than all the former 'tribes...there is going to be some menu diving. But seriously ...

Yea. I totally agree. While there are some obvious fixes that need to be made with clicks, pops, sound carryover etc. Bitching about what any piece of gear should be able to do is stupid. Sometimes I wonder why people buy pieces of gear knowing it has limitations that aren't going to work for them ...

I'd consider a TR8, but with what they are charging for the updates for new drum sounds Roland convinced me to shop elsewhere. After spending 500 dollars on a drum machine they want me to drop almost 100 for a very small sound set? I'll take my 500 and buy the ES2 or another sampler and load my Gold ...

Mine is the central controller of my live set up, directly controlling 3 synths over midi and syncing my Volcas. This is what I'd like to do as well.. But I'm having trouble assigning midi channels. Getting my synths to slave to my e2. Need help. The trick with MIDI is getting the settings exactly ...
