Thanks for the info. Would the conversion be done on Audacity or Kronos and having no experience, if you could tell me the process would be great help.

Also, creating Directory on the USB. I used a SAN DIsk flash drive. How would I create a directory on that? Thank you.

wav file difficulties

Thank you. I forgot to mention I used Audacity to transport the files from the AW. Would that constitute the files being "created" on Audacity? If not, would appreciate knowing how. Thanks again.

wav file difficulties

I just found a way to verify the wav files. They are in fact 1411kbps which is the standard for 16 bit.

Wav file difficulty

Thank you fro the reply. I believe they are 16 bit as they came from a Yamaha AW1600 which is by default 16 bit. But is there a way to verify for sure?

Wav file difficulty

I have a Kronos 2 88 and trying to import .wav files via USB. However, getting a message stating: "file contains unsupported data." I'm seeing nothing in the manual regarding this. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you

Update to the Update

I just freed up the remaining key. All keys are now working. Although I can still see that the gap between the rail and the keys is somewhat tighter at the lower end than the upper, I freed the key by inserting a soft piece of cardboard the width of the upper gap and pulled it down through the lower ...

Thank you very much for your info. I'm just going by what the tech told me on the phone, that he may be able to get the warranty through. Also, being the seller deposited the refund of $400.00 for repairs if I need them seems to me a fairly good deal as the sales invoice verifies the kronos was ...

Latest Update

Just thought I'd post an update re: 5 stuck keys. First of all wishing a Happy Father's Day to any of us Father's out there. I decided to ask the seller if he would chip in an extra $400.00, lowering my purchase price to cover repairs if necessary. In addition I learned the Kronos 2 88 is still ...

Thanks Benny, This does seem like it may be a safer way to do it, however, I contacted Korg support and here's what they say: We do not recommend adjusting the keybed of the Kronos on your own which requires the bottom panel to be removed. Serious damage to you or the Kronos can occur. Best Regards ...

I truly appreciate your what you mentioned about using a couple friends to assist. I haven't got anyone nearby to help so I would have to attempt to invert it by myself and fortunately I have a short couch that the Kronos may stretch across and allow me enough room underneath to "play" the keys ...

Thanks Greg. This is very good advice. It should not do any further damage if I turn it upside down as you suggest to remove the screws?

Such great information everyone and I truly appreciate it. I have to decide what to do. The seller asked me to fwd a video to verify I wasn't making it up; I sent it and he has since offered a price reduction of $300.00 as he doesn't want me to return it. I have to make a decision. Everything else ...

Thanks Tim,
Are you saying to "open the case" meaning unscrew it and remove the entire top of the ketboard and then turn it upside down? I guess I'm not quite understanding.
