Welcome back! I too moved on and got an MPC Touch (which believe me, is the answer to the prayers of most E2S users) but there is still something about the portability and immediacy of the electribe sampler that means I won't ever get rid of it and would probably buy it again. Undo is a huge huge ...

man, I was hopeful that this petition would mean something to Korg but seemingly it does not. At this point it's been years since the things came out. Korg likely abandoned any effort to patch the electribes and these feature requests will probably be noted for the next product.

Pretty sure app store purchases can only be validated by the account that purchased them. So in this case, the person who buys your E2S won't want your app file because they won't be able to update it, and it might not even work when they try to open it. They'll have to buy their own and you'd be ...

I knew this trick. To be honest I read about it quite some time ago and never thought that I could apply it to the Electribe too (I don't even remember if I already had it when I've been reading about this, maybe not). This could really come in handy in different situations. Most of all I think ...

Successful syncing of Electribe to Zoom r24 multitrack clock

hello friends. for those of you who are interested in a computer free set up I have good news. had a bit of a breakthrough the other night when I finally figured out how to have my hardware sync to the clock of my Zoom R24 multi-track recorder. The recorder lacks midi functionality, FYI. This means ...

Did I really just read someone comparing electribe product support to civil rights issues?

I love chord mode but to be honest, the voicings are so specific and linear that every time I use it I feel like my track starts to sound like every other track I used it for. My preferred method for chord entry - Hold Shift and hit the Chord button to pull up the chord mode menu. Select chord ...

If you produce techno then either machine can do a lot for you. In either case you'll be accepting some limitations, which if you're looking at grooveboxes in the first place, maybe you're prepared for. I think the increased polyphony of the E2, plus its 16 controllable channels of midi make it a no ...

The top priority now that it has a basic song mode should be any bugs that ruin the sound of your music. So for me note cut off when pattern changing and voice stealing are the top of the list for correcting.

For those who have iOS, one thing you can do to open the Circuit wide open is build a template in something like Touch OSC that gives you faders and knobs to control every single thing in the midi implementation chart. It took me a good hour or two to set up but now I can plug my iPad in and have ...

Looking at that list I couldn't help but think that song mode and pattern chaining are useless if they don't fix the fact that switching patterns causes notes to get cut off. All well and good if I can automate switching patterns but if it makes my music stutter and sound broken then I would have ...

For me it's like this: 1. Fix notes getting cut off when changing patterns. I think this could also satisfy my desire for 8 bar patterns or a song mode because I'd be ok with just paging through patterns to create structured music. I just hate that their bug makes my music sound like it's full of ...

you know, I bet a lot of people would benefit from you doing a brief update to your original youtube review that speaks to these new additions.

Circuit w/sample playback = Perfect electribe companion

Korg please take note. Novation is kicking your ass in the product support department! For all you electribe friends who either decided to pair your electribe with a Novation Circuit or who might be considering the possibility you'll want to read this: http://createdigitalmusic.com/2016/04/make ...
