With your help I have managed to make my Electribe receive audio, thank you guys! But whatever I do, the incoming sound is very quiet and noisy, even if I have the oscillator edit knob at 127. Filter, modulation and IFX are disabled. I have tried connecting the Volca Bass and my laptop computer ...

E2 audio input doesn't work

Hello, I can't figure out how to send external audio to my Electribe 2. There is audio going into it (I tried with different cables and external sources). I have an unmuted part set to "Audio In". I don't hear anything, no matter what I do. Changing to "Audio Through" in the global settings doesn't ...

I've been talking to Thomann, Europe's biggest music store. They have sold out the first batch already, when they haven't even got it yet. They estimate the second batch to arrive in July.

Yes, but stereo samples do not automatically sound different than mono samples. If you have a sample of a kick drum, its volume is usually equally loud on the left and the right. So if you make a track with stereo samples without any panning information, it sounds the same as the same track with ...

Is it just a bunch of presets that you work with? Most users, I suppose, will make patterns and then play and alter them live. So yes, you create presets, and then you work with them. I want a groovebox that is capable of making whole tracks on while just sitting in the soffa or at the kitchen ...

No problem, glad it works :)

By the way, Live 9 is pretty cool. The EQ is a spectral analyzer!

Xanadu,

this is bloody amazing. Very well done, quickly, clear and intuitive! Thank you.

I would also like to report that the .exe works on Linux (using WINE). I have not tested MIDI i/o.

I could also say, that two Korg Volcas almost cost the same as the new electribe, but the electribe has far more options and therefore, Volcas suck. That's pretty much the same situation, comparing what is not comparable. The Volcas are the real thing, they are analog desktop synthesizers (and a ...

Depends on what you want to do. Live performance with Ableton, and maybe a few hardware instruments? Use Push. Or another controller if you don't really need all of Push's features like the sequencers. Perhaps you can find a used APC40? I've used Ableton before, with a bunch of controllers, and I ...
