Hey all, I want to get a blofeld in order to create more ambient music. I've been reading up on it, and it seems like it will fit my needs for atmospheric pads and weird digital sounding effects. I'm trying to keep my setup all hardware and using the electribe2 as a master to control everything ...

I owned one years ago, it was OK. Standard virtual analog fair from Roland, though the supersaw osc was pretty cool and it had a decent arpeggiator, if you care about that sort of thing. Only 8 voice poly though, and 2 parts midi. Looks like they go for around $400+ used on ebay so it's probably not ...

For the life of me, I can't seem to get the KP3 editor to work at all. I've installed the korg midi drivers over and over again, and the editor always says "KP3 is not found". I'm not in USB mode. I was able to update the OS on the KP3 using the downloaded tool just fine, I'm not sure why I can't ...

I also have a microbrute and it seems to sync fine with the midi cable. The only other thing I can think of to try is to set the microbrute's midi input channel to 01 using the free firmware software. I think by default it's set to 16.

SadPaper if you still have the presets on your machine, the pattern change delay is pretty evident in some of them for version 1.03. In particular the "Chill Wave 3" to "Chill Wave 4" in presets 185 and 186 is pretty bad. Maybe you can check and see if they at least addressed that in 1.05.

I'm pretty sure it can send and receive clock signals, but can it also control the notes of external sound modules? Ex/ have a part on the electribe with a level of 0 but have it send the notes of the part to MIDI.
