Mastermalleus & Pecca are proud to present: Prophecy Conversions Vol. 1.

The Conversions began January 4:th in the year 2002. In the beginning there were several sysex files belonging to the old and mighty Korg Prophecy and collected by Mastermalleus. A guy named Pete Kvitek came up with the excellent idea of making a Prophecy to Z1 converter, which Mastermalleus used to convert the original Prophecy banks to Z1.

As the Z1 and Triton share many of the parameters in MOSS, the step between Z1 and Triton were easy. Using MOSSquito, created by 2ndEvidence, made the sounds take the leap between Z1 and Triton. Thus, in some cases the conversion failed to reproduce the glorious sound of Korg Prophecy (due to 2-step conversion) and needed manual input/editing. The editing was mainly done to the FX-part, routing the sound through the effects of Triton, but in some cases, to the parameters of the sound itself... To make the process a bit faster, RebelX volunteered to help out with "fixing" the sounds for use with Triton. Pecca proved to be a great resource with feedback and comments about the sounds (which in many cases lead to editing of those commented sounds), and finally decided to help out fixing some of the banks.

As of now, RebelX continues his work on the sounds that he´s been provided with. Our intention is to include his "fixed" banks amongst others in Prophecy Conversions Vol.2.
