Official Korg Poll for Electribe users

Hi all,
I'm interested to find out a little about how old our users are, and how people use our instruments. If you can take a moment to answer this poll by selecting one of the options above (you may need to be logged in to see the radio-buttons), it would be really helpful for our future development. Thank you!

Blimey!....
Someone from Korg actually looks at this Forum!...
And it's someone from R&D!
Hope you're getting plenty of food for thought?
Where have you been for the last 8 months?
Seriously, I Love my little Grey Box but I don't think Anyone who has one can say that there isn't room for improvements with another f/w update...
How's about access to a second ifx parameter via the shift button?
Or making note tails carry across on pattern changes!
Thanks in advance for listening to your users!

First: Gang, be nice to that guy. He may not responsible for the 4-bar decision. Or the note decays. Or that the new Electribe does not create world peace. If he is, we now know his name and where he lives.
Second: So far, we old bags are leading in the poll. Must be because we are the only ones up in the morning answering internet polls.
Now, I want my senior friendly Electribe... it must be really LOUD, my hearing is not that good any more.

I submitted my vote, ok. It's great to have the presence of a Korg rep on the forum, it's been a long time coming. Mr/Ms danatkorg, I know considerably less than zero about market research and how it propels/impedes future research. And, i guess you've got to break the ice somehow, i imagine nearly everybody on this forum wants your ear to talk about the new Electribe. But.... asking how old we are?!?!

Wow, KORG is talking to its paying customers... time to register.
At first please fix the issue with cutted note tails on pattern change! This is not a "feature" request, it's a bug. You are building pattern/loop sequencers - and the behaviour how notes are played is buggy? Really?
And please tread the sampler as a sampler. Sample Import is so absolutely complicated that it doesnt make sense to use it. There need to be a shortcut, and pre-listening is also most important. Editing a sample is also a pain...

Not a ton of votes yet, but the poll skews a little older than I thought it would.
Is the Groovebox concept most appealing to people who we around when the first generation Electribes were new?
Or maybe the older people tend to gather on forums while younger people live on social media?

I'd have loved to vote twice, haha. Use it for both producing and home, and for live sets!

We oldies are the hardware generation. We instinctively understand 16 midi channels and the concept of midi merging, splitting and the like. Millennials raised on the virtual ports of their DAWs won't understand.

They want to know whether the user group in this forum is similar to the user groups they have studied elsewhere, i.e., their overall customer base or the specific customer segment they have the Electribe marketed to.
It's hard to quantify opinions from both online sources and other means of study if you don't know whether one group has some bias. Age works well for checking this, age+income would be even better.
So far - we still have to get more votes to be sure - the poll shows that the users here are probably older and hence have more disposable income than what I would think was the target audience of the new Electribes. If, as I suspect, their idea of an average Electribe buyer was a 20+ hipster that occasionally does live gigs, this forum certainly does not meet that expectation.

I'm still banging away on my EMX, but that counts. Just in the studio these days, but I've got the half-century mini-tour coming up next winter/spring. The EMX will be an integral part of that.
I also bought a Kaos DJ setup to use with kids at school.
Hope that info is of some use.
