Do you want to do this in the Korg, or an external editor?
The easiest way is probably to import the sample to something like Audacity or any other graphical audio editor you have, and do the truncation there. Then re-save and transfer back to the Korg.
I am presuming, seeing as there is already a fair chunk of silence in it, this isn't a sample you want to loop, right?
You can probably do all this inside the Korg too (maybe a guru could help you with the details of this) but using a nice graphical computer audio editor makes the task visual and easy to see what you are doing. If you haven't got one, Audacity (cross-platform) is a good place to start. It's free.
I have the cubase

Graphically open the file in Cubase, and use the scissors tool to trim the beginning and end of the file. Then re-save...
Make sure you have no 'snap' value on, so the cuts are EXACTLY where you want them. And zoom in really close, to trim as tight as possible.
