Are you serious?...
In this case, I would return my two JBL EON 615 1000 Watt Powered 15" and ask for a refund and would buy a Korg PaAS...
Even with EON 615 I would say it's just fine for a maximum audience of 100 with dance floor.
Speakers are, of course, a very subjective topic. What may sound good to my ears may not make the cut for you. With that said, I use a couple of Mackie HR624 powered speakers for my studio and recording. For gigs I use JBL 510 powered speakers for small rooms, and JBL 515XTs for larger venues. They're light, responsive and clean sounding, and with some tweaking of the MAXX Audio mixer, usually provide a decent bottom. Good luck in the hunt.
THIS IS NOT A DRESS REHEARSAL!!!
Had in the past: PA50, PA1X, PA2X. Currently PA3X, PA4X

Wattage and SPL figures basically make the PaAS an extremely overpriced toy.
$500 buys you MUCH more power and depth with other systems. Nearfields for home, systems like the Nano300 (for only a couple of hundred more, with 280W), plenty of choice out there.
I mean, sure... If you are loaded and want something for home use with little power and want to spend four times what you need to, go ahead! Most of us, I imagine, are on a bit tighter a budget

I think you're probably right. But for home musicians, like me, they're pretty good. They sound really ok and it keeps your setup compact. They look good also. I like it a lot!Dikikeys wrote:Wattage and SPL figures basically make the PaAS an extremely overpriced toy.:
