Why on earth do you have to buy all of the pack? I don't want the Berlin Grand, I already have the Funk & Soul Brass, so don't want to pay for some of those sounds again... I just want the KRS-07 for the signature sounds. Why can't this be sold separately? This is coming across as a bit of a rip-off.

So, to try out the Collections EXs18, we need to make patches from scratch, because we can't download the programs until we buy it? Someone did not think this through at all.

That's not fair... At least, they should put somewhere list of the signature programs, and other programs. Didn't expect this rip-off...

I don't have any of the EXs so this package offer is perfect for me

the list is in the manual for the new Kronos. The new Combis are sprinkled throughout the rearranged Combi banks in the new Kronos.

It would be nice if someone could post a PDF of this KRS-07 Sound Pack program list.

I just threw away my first protest.

If you look at the price, the Berlin Grand alone could be sold at 250$.

It still is a problem for those, who just want those of the new KRS patches covering existing samples.

Try this link. It's the Kronos2 Operating Guide Download.

http://i.korg.com/SupportPage.aspx?productid=724

It looks like they have included the samples of the other EX's as part of this collection to give you a way to test them out and possibly purchase the "full" EX's at a later time.

Here is the quote from KORG:

"EXs11, EXs15 and EXs16 contain many additional samples, Programs, and Combinations not included in EXs18. If you find some new favorite sounds in EXs18 - and we think that you will! - please try out the full EXs titles. You can download demo versions below."

So that being said, it kind of looks like to me they included those for people who haven't purchased them already and you're really paying for the Berlin Grand and KRS07.

Just my thought.

I'll play devil's advocate here in regards to this Korg offer.

I will admit that it is odd that they are offering a combo here (especially for a premium piano in a brand new engine format). However, if anyone was thinking they were going to get this new piano for less than 2 Benjis is not living in the reality of the Korg pricing model.

SOOO, now you get some bonus material as an extra sweetner. Pretty cool and Korg didn't have to do it.

I still lament having any library purchase tied to a Kronos and not my own Korg account.

I have a 73 key and would love to get an 88 key, but all of my purchases are STUCK!
