Depends on budget and future plans.

I like my Behringer QX1002USB - 10 inputs (2 mono with compressor/eq/gain/fx level/pan + 4 stereo pairs with fx level/pan), usb audio interface, 100 built in digital effects and additional mono FX send - it has the space to grow for adding more inputs.

I picked up this compact 6-channel mixer

EQ on each channel, and USB out

Which for £50 is an absolute steal

I got a second hand Korg KM402 for about £65. 4 channel mixer with built in kaos pad mini. Great with Volcas.

I use a variety of different ones, but for quick jams I made this no batteries and way better than the Belkin rockstar I was using before.
