I'm hoping someone can help me. I'm fairly new to the Krome but I'd be shocked if there isn't a way to do something that my O1W did 20 years ago.
I play in an acoustic duo and use the sequencer as backing on most songs. I've always recorded a track to trigger the harmonizer (TC Helicon) and then just muted that particular track, as it's only the keystroke data that the harmonizer keys off of, not the audio signal. I'm finding with the Krome that when I mute the track (or turn the fader way down on it), the harmonizer doesn't pick it up.
Any ideas?

Yup... when you mute a track in Krome, the sequencer doesn't play that track's midi data.
What you can try is turning the volume right down for the track instead... that should work.
BTW - it's well worth studying the operations guide for details on how the Krome uses "dummy tracks" to trigger arpeggiators, etc.... that will help you understand how the Krome handles midi data between tracks.

Here you will have the ability to set the Track Status to MIDI; by default the status is set to BTH (BOTH) and assign a desired MIDI channel.
Problem solved.
Incidentally, this is the same way it worked on the 01/W.
And to reiterate what was said above, the manual(s) are an invaluable resource. That being said, if your not sure exactly what to look for, it can be very hard to find so never hesitate to jump on the forum and ask.
