Hello all, I have a question.
Is it supposed to be really hard to obtain half damping with the korg DS1H pedal? It feels like I have only a few millimeters to work with.
Is it this hard too on a real piano? I have no experience on a real piano. Or is something wrong with my pedal?
And also: When I try to calibrate the half damping on my Krome, what exactly is supposed to happen?
It says : set MIN/MAX then press "Done"
But how do I do this. I can only press the pedal (MAX?) and a bar fills up then I release the pedal (Bar stays on) and i press "Done".
Is this the right way to calibrate half damping?
Thanks in advance for the help.

Hi.
I use the DS1H with the Kronos and I can confirm the same.
When you really want to obtain the half fdamper effect if you are very careful you can. But in a live situation it's very difficult to be that precise.
The calibration does not help too much. I guess it's more like checking the polarity of the pedal.
