Soundfont conversion

I am having mixed experiences with soundfont conversion inside the Kronos and wondering if there is a better way , around 90% are fine if basic single audio soundfonts but the machine freaks out with soundfonts with loop points on some and other things like file names etc and it just seems long winded = load multiple items and then load each one at a time etc ? am i missing a quicker and easier way ?
i have all my samples in a base format of Akai s6000 and from there i can go any direction ( currently into Sf2 format and then manual import via the Kronos ) but i am wondering how others do this ?

I think the best way is to find out by yourself, do some experiments with import/conversions , when and why does conversion bugs appear and then edit/optimize the waveforms/patches for best conversion compatibility .
soundfonts are not invented by Korg and they weren't only meant to be imported in kronos or smth.)) so they may be not absolutely compatible sometimes
however you can edit loop points manually with sampling mode.
I myself prefer to remap(recreate) the patch manually with old kontakt 2 before
conversion to sf2 , to avoid probable "hidden soundfont or other format prefs"
unfortunately there's no better soundfont optimizer but user himself))

Hello.
If you can upload a file that doesn't work, chances are I can tell you exactly what the problem is.
When it comes to SF2 files, a clean identical map ( if the sound contains more than one layer), short enough internal file names, and avoiding saving single sounds as BANK files is highly recommended. I've been sticking to those rules for a long time now and I've got a perfect 100% success rate in loading sounds.
Regards
Sharp.

Just recently started messing around with SampleRobot and Awave.
With that software you can create sf2 files and edit them if they contain any attributes that the Kronos isn't happy about.

many thanks for all the advice guys and i think some i may need to just look into further , naming of files is a big issue of course and then second to that seems loop points etc .
One other question is regards bulk import of soundfonts ? there does not seem to be one a way , every file needs to be ' ok'ed ' ? ideally i would like to multiple select 300 soundfonts . press a few buttons , go and make some tea and let the Kronos do more work but i guess thats impossible ?:)

Found out that you can append soundfonts in the Kronos memory and save the entire sample memory as a KSC file. The plus side is that that KSC file can stream from SDD.
With that many soundfonts it can be tedious but if that's the way to go.....
One of my favorite slogans would be: The solution that works usually is the best one

I also noticed that not every "sample library" goes perfectly through sf2 import, sometimes I get reduced level than in the original ,
probably creating the program manually in sampling mode (load samples in wav. , assigning , mapping etc) is optimal way.
