tAktile49 USB/MIDI Issue(s)

Hello forum folks. I'm looking for any ideas at getting the tAktile49 working correctly. I've been working a little with the tAktile49 for about a month. Until recently I'd had it hooked up to my old Duel Core desktop pc system which most of the time I use for mixing and mastering. The tAktile works perfectly on it and all it's functions work as expected.
I use an i3 PC Notebook for most of my DAW/Vsti work so this week I installed the tAktile on it and most of the installation went well however every time I play a soft synth it works for about 20 or 30 seconds and then either the synth/controller just stops or the notes hang and get stuck. I am able to play the synth with another controller or the PC keyboard like in Live.
I've tried several ideas. I think the problem is with USB. My audio interface is usb, and I have a usb hub. There's only 3 USB ports but the tAktile is connected to its own port, the audio interface has it's own port and the USB hub has it's own as well. I can use the standard in/out ports on the tAktile plugged into the audio interfaces midi ports but then I lose the direct control of my DAW setups.
Any ideas that I could try?](./images/smilies/eusa_wall.gif)
