How to start programming MS20 AL1 MOD7 etc

I would like to programm some sounds / pads.
By reading the manual and watching some videos, I miss the start.
How to start from the very beginning with one of Kronos "engines"?

In a video of Qui Robinez programming AL1, I see the start:
Bank: User-FF EXi > 16: user 16
The title of the sound is: >035 Init EXi programm

In this bank (User FF) the title is Emotional strings (HD-1)

By loading different demo's, all user banks are filled with other data.
How to clean all these data and free the user banks AA - GG.

I hope someone will take time to help me, would appreciate it A LOT!

You should find a EXi program, you can't have one with a bank containing HD1 programs. Once you have one, go to common basic, and you have the choice of the engine, simply choose another one and get back to the AL1 engine, the sound will be initialised, it's a simple saw with a filter EG. Don't forget to turn off all IFX and MFX =)

If you want to initialise a bank that's already in use, you can empty it really easy by:
- pressing the global button
- press the right top menu on the touch screen
- select Set Program User-Bank type
- Now change the Program bank to HD-1 or EXI for the bank you want to clear (in your case User-FF).
- After changing the program bank all programs in that bank are deleted and initialised for new use.

The bank type determines the engines you can use:
EXI is needed for the Synth engines like AL-1, Polysix, MS-20 , etc...
HD-1 is needed for the HD-1 Synth engine

When you watch and try my programming tutorials for the MS-20 and AL-1 you need to set the bank Type to EXI

If you want to try the HD-1 Pad creation tutorial you need to set the bank type to HD-1.

Hope this helps a little bit more.

NOTE!
So, one important thing to remember, if you change the bank type all programs from that bank will be initialised. So if you have any sounds in that bank you want to save, you need to save that bank first to a PCG file (save PCG in the disk menu)
