Better to compare the M50 to the Krome. If you have a chance, try out the Krome...

So it means that korg m50 is still higher than the kross eventhough kross is a new model?

Yes, you are correct. But I guess you know the M50 was discontinued.

Anyway... the Kross is more of an "entry level" keyboard. The Krome has much more to offer. And it has a touch screen. Believe me, that is an important feature.

Are there any music stores in your town where you can try out some keyboards?

There is some guy who wants to trade my kross for his m50, both are in good condition, do you think its a great deal man!?

That is difficult to say without seeing the M50. It is an older board and may eventually have issues with the buttons and screen.

Are both keyboards the 61-key model?

In my opinion its not, sound of Kross is little bit better. I'd rather looked for Krome, which is better than both.

yes they are both 61 key model...
but the m50 looks like new men... and I think it doesn't have an any issue...
i dont have enough budget for the krome...
and they say that m50 is like a krome minus the piano? is it true?

Krome can load your own samples + has bigger space for sounds. But yeah, M50 + piano, drums = Krome

Hi Korg people. I would like to replace my Korg M50 with Korg Krome. I recorded a lot of bass & drums sequencer tracks/songs and I wonder if new Korg Krome will read sequencer data written on M50. Thanks for your help in advance, Petar.

The Krome can read M50 PCG and SNG files. There are a few minor limitations which are documented in the Krome Parameter Guide.
