MicroKorg -- X-stand or other portable stand?

Post by cpcohen »

My microKorg (XL+, but I don't think that matters) is sitting on a folding "TV table". The table is too narrow, and too wobbly.

I'd like something fairly stable, that I can carry to gigs. I'm playing from my lap, away from home, and it's not the most comfortable arrangement.

Does anyone make a small X-stand? A stand for a miniature digital piano?

Thanks --

Any sort of quality x-stand or z-stand will work, you'll just have to use a shelf board underneath. You can get laminated shelf boards at hardware stores or make one with MDF or plywood and some sort of covering. The bonus of doing this is that you also have some space to put an additional device.

Thanks -- that's an obvious solution I hadn't thought of. Maybe not obvious, then!<g>

X-stands and lumber are both inexpensive.
