Hello,
Could anyone advise me on the following please;
On Page 19 of the 3X User manual under the heading "Audio Input Section",
and the sub heading "Mic", the book says "connect your mics, guitars or any other musical instruments to the Audio Inputs on the back of the instrument"
Well I have tried connecting my guitar into either of these inputs and get nothing at all.
Am I doing something wrong ?. What should the connections be if using a guitar? Do I have to use both left and right conns at the same time to get anything.
Thanks,
DSerek B.

Go to Global menu, Audio Setup, Audio In. Here you have a choice of Mic or 1&2 In. The Mic input should work fine for guitar (make sure you press the Mic button to turn it on). The input level is controlled with the knob next to the Mic In. With this option you will still be able to record an mp3 with your guitar as well but you won't be able to sing.
You can sing and play guitar at the same time by leaving it switched to Mic and using the 1&2 input for guitar but you will no longer be able to record properly. You would also most likely need a pre-amp on the guitar as the sensitivity of 1&2 will be much lower than thru the Mic input.
I think the best option for live performing (keys/guitar/voice) would be the plug your guitar direct to your amp. The best option for recording would be to use an external recorder such as your computer.
Cheers,
John
Just wondering how you are going to achive the guitar playing and keyboard playing at the same time!
