Is there a way to record the Joystick Vector Movement?

Is there a way to record the Kronos Joystick vector movements like on the old Yamaha TG33 as part of the patch? Being able to record the joystick movement you make and then triggering that movement with each note you play would be quite powerful... I am asking if this is possible to do in realtime just by moving the joystick. Was the Wavestation able to record this in realtime or did it need to always be programmed in steps in the patch editor?

I think there is but I'm not entirely sure on that.

This might help - Page 555 of the Parameter guide:
Enable Song Vector CC [Off, On]
This controls whether or not the Track will receive the Song’s Vector CCs.
If this is On, the Track will receive the CCs, and the Track’s Program will respond to them according to its own AMS settings.
If this is Off, the Track will not receive the CCs. This can be useful if the Song’s Vector CCs are causing unwanted modulation, or conflicting with the Program’s own Vector CCs.

Thanks Ed,
I am sure the Joystick can be recorded as Midi data and played back in a Midi sequence. What I am asking is if the Joystick movement can be recorded as a vector and saved inside the Patch (like on the Yamaha TG33). This would be amazingly expressive and would quickly transform and personalize how Patches sound.
Vector positions can be set in the editor manually. What I am asking is if the movement can be recorded in real time simply be grabbing the stick.

Sorry I mis-read the question I guess.

Sorry, no.

The Wavestation did not record vector movements in realtime; envelope points were programmed in a similar way to the KRONOS (though the KRONOS offers greater flexibility in a number of ways).

Thanks Dan. It would be a cool update feature...

Out of curiosity, the Kronos cAn't record these movements but could it be recorded with an external daw? Does the Kronos send this information?

Could you not record the movements in a seq. and then have that set as an RRRP?

None of those options would let the OP simply play his sound and use the Vector JS as sort of an LFO or envelope recorder on his sound.
I'm kind of surprised it isn't possible although I haven't needed it yet. Some templates on my Lemur have this feature and it's pretty cool. Definitely a feature request!

Yes, the Vector Joystick sends and receives MIDI CCs, which can be recorded by both the internal sequencer and any external DAW.

You're entirely correct of course, but just for the sake of clarity, I don't think it solves/addresses the OPs request.

I had already replied to the OP; see above. This second reply was to Bertotti's question.

Fair point, it just seemed Bertotti was offering this as a solution to the OPs question, just wanted to point out one more time it's not. Sorry if I'm crossing into "annoying"
