Thats OK Lorenzo. I'm Australian. I'm curious about the response. I mean we can't vote, yet indirectly the result effects all of us around the world. :)

Kerry

I disagree with many decisions that has taken place in my country and the obvious 'direction' of the current administration. This is not the same Republican party of the 80's/90's. It is a strange masquerade by a behind the scenes neo conservative theologically extreme cast of characters using Bush as a front man. The ' centrist Republicans ' such as Mc Cain or Arnold do not represent the direction of the Republican Party. That was strictly for ' show'.

The voting breaks down like this. 1/3 will vote for Bush no matter what.
1/3 will vote for Kerry and certainly there is a large group that sees this as an anti Bush move.

The key is the last 1/3 of the voting population that hasn't thought about the election, are not informed and are waiting for the Presidential debates prior to November.

Don't be misled by the various polls in the US. That's like trying to understand the economy by following every wiggle of the stock market.

I'm a Brit so I don't really get a vote, but I would go for Kerry too.

Some people you trust, some you just don't.

Just my personal opinion of course. :D

Even if I could vote, I won´t, as this thread easily can set a fire as for political standings... A vote could be interesting, but I doubt that you have found the right forum for it.

Sincerely,
Richard

I sincerely second that! A fantastic and very intelligent President (apart from the Ms. Llewensky (sp?) t'ing). A massive pity they can only run for two terms max. :(

Clinton had an IQ of 186(!!)
Bush has 91.

No joke... It's common knowledge. Search the 'net.

Hmmm, being Canadian ('the latest state' honour(?) goes to us, I think), I don't fancy either of them - too protectionist. Softwood lumber, closed border to Canadian beef, future freshwater supplies, and don't tell Bush that there's more oil in northern Alberta than in Saudi Arabia.

The lighter side:

Have a good 'un, eh?

Hi Richard
Nobody has to vote. Its all light hearted. And even if you do vote you don't have to tell anyone who you voted for. There are polls happening all over the place. It doesn't mean that, that will be the result.
And as for right forum... It says off the topic. Anyway I like to hear opinions of musicians. I mean we write about this stuff in some of our songs.
Regards Terry :)

I hear you Odinmoon. The only thing I was afraid of was this little thing turning out to be something else, like I´ve seen before in similar places (not so intelligent as IA though). So far it´s good, so I hope that we can keep it that way.
