Where are Song templates saved on disk?

Hi -
I can't find in the manual where on disk user song templates are stored.
If I save PCG+SNG will this save user song templates too, or must I save an ALL file?
Thanks,
Kevin.

Kevin, it looks like User Song Templates are saved to some sort of system buffer, using the clock battery. Just like you can set time and save it, the User Templates are saved as well, since there are only 16 of them.
Turn off your OASYS, then back on - the Templates will still be there. Load new Songs and the same 16 will still be there. This is pretty cool, as there are some orchestral mock ups that I want to call up, repeatedly.

Hi Mike - that's interesting for sure - but does mean that song templates cannot be backed up to disk? And, I own two OASYS - does this also mean that I not copy song templates from one OASYS to another, and not to a Kronos when I eventually acquire one?

Load one or more templates into the sequencer Song slots and save a SEQ file. Port that file to a USB drive and plug into your other OASYS or Kronos. Once there, save the Song setups to that keyboard's user template area.

Mike -
I'm an idiot! Of course I can do that. It's amazing isn't it - you get it into your head (like I did) that there's a limitation, and stop using your noggin to think it through. If I'd only not griped, and thought for 5 minutes, the solution would have been clear. I must be turning into a grumpy old man!
Thanks (and appreciated)!
Kevin.
