Naming "user-B" realtime controls??

For Example: refer to Factor program: 007 "Intimate Strings".

Realtime Control: B-user-2 seems to be controlling the pitch of one of the oscillators. (and it seems that knobs 1, 3, 4 aren't assigned to anything)

But when I click on the Control-Surfact tab, the 4 user knobs are only labled Mod 1; Mod 2; Mod 3; Mod 4.

Question: Is it possible to rename Knob MOd 2 to read exactly what paramater the knob is assigned to control?

I assume that this would be possible being that Realtime Control knobs A 1-4 are named Filter Cutoff; Filter Resanance; Filter EG Int and EQ Relase.

You can't rename them to what ever you want but the names will change depending on the assignments. The defaults are Knob Mod 1-4 corresponding to CC 17, 19, 20, 21.

If you assign knob 1 to F/A Attack then that is what should appear as the label on the control surface page.

Hey Bald Eagle,
thanks for reply...though, did you audition the patch in my example above? If so, then why is Knob 2 labled "mod 2" and not "osc 2 semi-pitch" or something similar to that ...not sure exactly what correct paramater name is that the knob2 is actually controlling.

With the mod 1-4 assignments its just sending those CC's without knowing what will ultimately be controlled. It's just a level of indirection that they didn't bother to follow when displaying the label for those particular assignments.
