George Duke died?

Maybe I'm too quick on the draw, but there are messages floating around that George Duke passed away last night in St John's hospital in LA...

Yes, apparently.
Great keyboard player, he had a profound influence on Zappa's music in the early 70's, making it sound better than ever before, and Zappa also loved working with George Duke.

His wife passed away about a year ago. People close to him say
he was really devastated to the point of quitting music altogether.
He took some time off and eventually went back in studio and put
together what was to be his last project, "Dream Weaver". It was
released a couple to three weeks ago. Word is that he suffered from
Leukemia. There is a video floating around that shows him being
interviewed for the album release where he details his journey over
the last year.

I'm really going to miss him as well as his work.
