how to change settings for specific drum keys

I am making a song in sequencer mode and I would like to change one of the drum sounds so that it does not pan from left to right every time I hit the key. I would like the sound to play evenly center balanced in both channels at once each time I play the key. Does anybody know how to do this? Thanks in advance!

It depends on what is doing the panning. let me know which drum program you are using and the specific note / sound you are playing on the keyboard and I will check it out.

I can't find Prog that anywhere on my K61. I don't believe that is factory preload. I couldn't find it in the VNL either. Did you load some extra banks?

PS- my U-CC Banks are empty, as I believe they are supposed to be, coming from the factory.

Oh yeah I forgot to mention this is a Kronos X. What would be the general area to look for changing these type of drum settings?

if it is like previous Korg instruments, I believe the drum kits can be edited in the "Global Mode". I didn't know that the Kronos X ships with extra sounds. I feel cheated!

It doesn't as such, it has the demo versions of
EXs 10 Ricky Lawson Drums
EXs 11 Legendary Strings
Exs 12 SGX-1 Austrian Piano
EXs 13 Jazz Drums Expansion Kit
available to load from the SSD and has patches for these in those banks

THe demo version will have dropouts in audio, so I am not too sure you want to use them...

That's strange, I have been playing this drum loop quite a while and the sounds haven't dropped out. How long do they last?

not sure. Check the Korg website for details. the dropouts are part of the copy protection. back to your oriinal question- I looked around and didn't see any panning parameters in the Program or Global pages. It might be an IFX, or if you are using it in a Combi or Sequence it could be an automated thing. If KARMA is doing it- you're on you.re own!

Is there a red box at the very top of the screen saying "Samples Not Loaded"?
U-CC 044 is Malet Ambi HipRAP KIT and uses the EXs13 Jazz Drums Expansion kit found on the SSD under "Korg Options"
However,
If you press Play, OSC/Pitch, OSC 1 Basic on the touch screen you will see it uses
Drum Kit U-A14 R&B Kit
This is the kit you can hear and doesn't fade in and out.
If you press OSC 2 Basic you will see it has U-D11 Mallet Kit Amb3 and that the text is in red as the samples not loaded (unless you have loaded the EXs13 from the SSD). This is the one that will fade in and out if you have loaded EXs13 as its a demo.
Then there is Karma that is using GE 1839 Studio RnB [Acoustic Kits]

You can't edit drumkits in Sequencer Mode.
First make sure, it's not an IFX on the kit that's causing auto-pan.
Then, you can see which DrumKit the program uses.
Then, go into Global Mode and go the Drum Kit page. From there you can call up that Drum kit.
Then go to the drum kit key that you want to edit.
There you can chose a different sample for that Drum Kit key, set panning, levels, ... etc.
Then write the drum kit into a new user drum kit.
Then go into the program, and select the new user kit for the that program.
Write the program.
Then go back to Sequencer mode and you should have your customitzed drum kit key sound.
Thanks.
