Hello! I just got my ps60 and i find it very easy to program, however, i cant get the boss fv500 pedal to work to control specific volumes, cant even get it to work to control master volume... Been trying to calibrate it but it alwyas fail... I use the #2 pedal/damper/swith socket... Had already set it to "pedal" and set to control volume/master volume... In the software editor, i made sure the midi filters for the pedal are all green for the timbres i want to control... What am i missing? Please enlighten me. Thanks in advance!
P.s.
The expression pedal works fine with my x5d, so im sure it is not broken.

Only thing I can think of is that (1) the potentiometer - the device that sets the amount of variation possible - is not compatible with needs of the pedal parameters, or that (2) the pedal input requires a different jack type (TRS or TS) than is on your pedal... or possibly both.
When you put the jack in do you feel it click twice? That would want a TRS jack with two black stripes on the jack itself.
You might check the specification sheet to see what pedal (korg! of course) they recommend, then check the spec sheet for that pedal to see what it is and compare it to the specs for the boss unit.
As a last ditch option you could just go for a guitar type master volume control (i.e., Morely), run your whole rig through it, and use that on the entire signal before your amp.

Greetings! Took long but i finally tried the crossover cable. had a hard time calibrating the pedal, when successfully calibrated, everything's working fine. However, i have to repeat the calibration everytime i turn off my ps60...i dont think my input jack is broken, it works fine when i use it as switch/sustain... Thanks

Expression pedal setting should save under Global Data, are you saving/writing Global, and do you have the memory protect OFF in order to do so?

again it tool long for me to return to this thread... still having trouble calibrating my boss fv 500l pedal with my korg ps60, however, i found a way to calibrate the pedal using a crossover TRS Cable...
first, plug the crossover TRS cable to your korg unit. DO NOT connect the other end of the cable to your pedal yet
second, go to calibration page on the global settings and choose which pedal input you are going to use
third, enter calibration mode, DO NOT plug the other end of the cable to the pedal just yet, instead, rub the TIP,RING and BODY of the jack of the cable up and down with your thumb slowly.
fourth, just press calibrate and it will say "DONE"
took a while to figure out... it works for me. i hope it does too for you... have a nice day!
