Keyboard Split/ Chord Scan issue...possibly bug?

Post by Guzicar »

Not sure if this happens to anyone else but I am using a factory global file and I am making my own set for the pa3x. However, I have noticed, even after locking the split and chord scan option in global and writing the global settings. for some reason occasionally the chord scan would switch from lower to upper by itself... !! I don't know why it's doing this, i seems to happen sometimes when I change a style or performance.

Anyone have any ideas what could be the issue?

Thanks

Upper & lower scan belong to STS properties (not global) and must be saved with specific STS.
When you recall a style or performance , first STS sound with it's own scan settings will be revealed !
If you want to lock scan mode globally then first STS of first performance must be defined
as main global setting when system starts up
, but let me totally disagree with that method
since it's "tricky" and can conflict normal operation.
UMHO is better to determine scan properties you need from first STS of every style and save it back.

The only undefined issue that happens in styles STS is the conflict between fingered chord 1-3
settings among 4 STS of α style when 4 STS have 4 totally different states !
