Microstation discontinued?

Hello folks,

a new member on this board, happy owner of two Microstations, and starting off with a dim question: Is the Microstation being discontinued?

German site www.korg.de has an "older models" section (frühere Modelle) and there -and only there- you can find the Microstation and the Microsampler (of which I also didn't know that it was discontinued).

I read this elsewhere earlier but it seemed gossip or guesswork. Haven't found much else on the net about it.

What do we know? Is a new model coming up (like The MicroKorg XL+)?

Thanks and cheers!
Ensho

There is a New workstation Krome out, but is not a micro type.

On korg.nl and korg.de the mS is discontinued.

No mention on korg.com or http://www.korg.co.jp/Product/Synthesizer/

only on uk site M50 workstation discontinued:
http://www.korg.co.uk/products/disconti ... tinued.php

mS is only 2 years old, don't think there will be a new micro workstation soon, maybe a new workstation soundmodule only will come out!
But that don't make sense, because a DAW/VST will do a better job these days!

I bought the last microStation 1 year ago in a big german music store - there weren't any other microStations after mine in the store. So, one year ago, I already thought that the microStation reached the "end of life" cycle of KORG. Thank god, I have one!

Yes it is being discontinued. So if anybody wants one rush to your dealer. Here in Ontario they only have display models left at L&M and other dealers.

Mine is up for sale in the UK if anyone struggles to get one. Boxed like new in excellent condition. Never gigged and home use only.

IMo : Korg already success with their Microstation family; I hope the next big thing will come its : 61 Micro Keys KORG MICRONOS who loaded with a Kronos Sample like German Grand Piano's and Japanese Grand Pianos. It dosn't matter if they not incld a sequencer (just only synth sounds) as long as they are have a Kronos sampling sounds and Arpegiator; I will buy it !
