Got Kronos X but..

Post by hammondcuni »

Hello
Got Kronos X in today. Havent even went through sounds. I went directly into trying to load a sample I use using the key-off option. As in my Triton and M3 all i do is load the main sound(organ) then i put it in user. From there i set sound to double then i go to OSC2 and load the other sample which is a release sound of organ. I set it to key-off. Well it works, meaning that when i release key the release sound of organ sounds but it cuts off too soon. Is there something that is set to zero. I cant figure out what it is. Its weird.
Any suggestions?
Thanks

Guess you would have to set a release time longer than the length of the sample in the amp EG page.

The fan, the keybed, the load time, any reboot problems, noticible improvement in quality of manifacture?? Or is it exactly the same as the original Kronos except as advertised?

Congratulations with your Kronos. Can I ask you a favor to do a small test for me regarding testing PCG Tools?

Good point ... only possibility if he might have a friend owning a Kronos or tried it in the store.

If you think about it... It kinda is fair for them to allow the guys that purchase the Kronos x to have the first crack at 2.0 first...

Congrats again

Sorry guys I hit the road for tonights gig but Im settled in a room now. The built of it feels the same compared to the various Kronos I have briefly demoed in stores. The seriel number is 100361.
I have a couple of more hours to mess with it before I go to work . Im about to mess with the release in the EG amp section see if my sample works.
I will not use Kronos tonight regardless. I need at least a couple of days to get familiar.
Oh and the fan noise? I can see for myself what all the commotion was about. In this room it is noticable but at a club or any event there will be no issue for me.

Well that does it for me. I just can't see why anyone would buy a Kronos. I think Korg has been terribly remiss relating to the board, and callus with its customers.

I'm starting to panick a little. The EG release deal isnt working. Its weird because even my Triton Classic can handle this. I will keep trying.
