Kaosspad Unconverted digital INs/OUTs

Post by djcl.ear »

Are there?
I thought there weren't yet... until I saw KP3 USB connector apparently no related to the MIDI connectors at its side.
If digital inputs and outputs are there, what is the Kaoss audio files resolution? 44,1 48 88,2 96 KHz? Also bit depth and processing bits: 24bit, 30 or more?

Since I intend to use the digital path, there is no need to find out about what kind of quality DACs and ADCs KAOSS models have.

The KP3 does not have a digital audio path. Input & output is analog. The USB connection is just for MIDI-over-USB, and also file management of the SD card -- it doesn't transmit digital audio.

The samples on the KP3 are 16bit/48khz. I'm not entirely sure if that's the rate/depth it processes at internally as far as analog/digital conversion, but I'm assuming it is since that's how recorded samples are stored.
