This is one of my created Amp IFX applied to the
Screaming Tube Guitar .
All sounds are coming from the Kronos of course .
All IFX are also coming from the Kronos except the bass which was EQ'd with SSL EQ .
Mixed and mastered using Ableton live and Waves plugins .
Be patient, as the guitar won't come in until
2:35 ...
Enjoy

Sweet!
Question: are these drums a Kronos drumset, or what? Because they sound great...

Yes, it's the
Rock Ambiance Dry kit - SN on . Copied from program along with its IFX .

I think this is the proof that the Kronos guitar doesn't sound bad after all ... actually it sounds very convincing and enjoyed listening to it a lot.
Great playing too (are you a guitarist too?).
And yes, I love this kind of music which also helps
Thanks ... absolutely great.

Hey thanks Michel . I agree that the guitar doesn't sound bad at all . In fact, i believe it can also sound much better than this ( i just need to put more time into it and experiment with all those amps).
No i don't play guitar, i'm a pianist/keyboardist .
Thanks again

If you are not a guitar player I think then it's even a better job you did

I think this again proves that electric guitars on Kronos are not really good. Just MHO, sorry. It just doesn't behave nicely, much less like a real guitar, sounds too smeared when doing note runs, and overall just too synthy overall, not realistic at all.
However, I'll say that playing is nice.

I thought it sounded great and realistic.
Its reminds me of Carlos Santana's "Love of My Life" featuring Dave Mathews.

I have a friend of mine, who is a guitarist with 30+ years exp., and he thought the "actual sound" was very realistic. He was able to pull up a similar effect lead on his rig.
Guitar players create custom sounds all the time.
Its all about preference and individuality.

Hey , you don't need to apologize man. I actually agree with you that it sounds a little smeary and synthy when playing slow runs in the lower octave , but you gonna remember : the sound I used is actually an HD-1 sound. Actually , i just finished programming an STR-1 patch with the same ifx settings , and I think it sounds much much better and much more realistic. I'll upload a solo demo of the sound here as soon as I can.
