Midi output problem

Post by cyrusrua »

I can't seem to get any signal out of the midi out. The jack, not the usb. When connected, to my Tascam interface, the light that shows midi signal is lit constantly, but nothing happens when I press the keys. Plugged into my Kurzweil, everything is working, so I know it's not the pc or interface. This thing is driving me nuts, so any help is most appreciated.

I don't know. Mine works fine. Could this be channel related?

I don't think so. I think I'm set on channel 1 & the patch is as well. Like I said, the light on the Tascam that lights when receiving midi data is lit continuously as if I was doing a data dump.

The light may light continuously because of active sensing data. There is nothing wrong with that.

Not sure why it wouldn't be working though - check your MIDI note filter in global mode?
