A piece of my own work (3)

Post by Pr0 »

This was my first experience with an external drums and voice recording. I had a drummer play with a Roland TD-20, via midi, but ended recording the roland drums itself

(didn't use the Oasys's internal drums). Then I had two singers (male and female). Original music and lyrics.
The whole thing was part of an evangelistical project on my local church.

hi Pedro-Ribeiro, you have a great sense of music and your compositions sound so complex, well mixed and very different from the run of the mill commercial songs that we hear all the time. The only criticism I can make is the vocals sound a little bit muddled and not crispy. don't know if you meant it to be that way. also liked your EP solo in Olhei e Vi. BTW what do your titles mean?

Dranandj, I'm flattered by your comment. As to the voices being muddy... you're probably right. :)
As to the titles - "Olhei e Vi" means "I looked and see", meaning, in a Christian religious context, to look at God and see is true nature; "Vida Nova" means "New life" (in God, that is.)
