Kronos and mac connection

How do I get the Kronos to see my MacBook Pro? I have connected through the USB B port and the Mac can see the Kronos - and is using it successfully as an audio interface. But the Kronos cannot see the Mac - though I can of course transfer files through a memory stick using the USB A ports.

Any help or advice would be welcome

Thanks Gill

I don't think you can transfer files from a computer to the Kronos via USB. You need to use a USB storage device like a memory stick.

Gil,
Kronos cannot read files from your Mac. You must load them via USB storage device.

I have the opposite problem. I have hooked my Mac to the Kronos using the USB B port, but the Mac doesn't see the Kronos.

What am I missing?

Are you saying mac is not seeing the Kronos for audio..
In Global/Basic/Audio, have you selected L/R for USB 1 and USB 2?

If it's midi, then as the above post says to get the latest driver and make sure it is installed correctly.

In the Triton Extreme and also I think the M3 you would go to media/utility/usb storage and it would go into "usb storage mode" and show up as an external drive on the computer. Are you saying that does not work on the Kronos? That would be a shame.

For M3 you had to use some "secret keys" in order to boot it like USB storage mode... For Kronos, we don't know yet if such "secret keys" exist

Thanks. I'll give that advice a try tonight.

Kronos network connection

You can connect your Kronos to your network in USB with this USB/ETHERNET Apple cable :
http://store.apple.com/fr/product/MC704 ... rnet-apple

Then for the transfer of files from your MAc you use an FTP Software like Filezilla.

You wille have first to give an IP adress to your Kronos with :
- GLOBAL / NETWORK and enter the IP adress you like and the IP of your router.

Are you saying not connected for audio? or midi? ftp? They all work great if you have things set correctly. Can probably be solved with a little more information.
