What / how did you customize it? The color?

I used oven cleaner to remove the anodized aluminum finish. It took several coats to remove all of the red. I shined it up a bit afterwards with aluminum polish. I ordered most of the black rubberized knobs from Mouser http://www.mouser.com/Search/ProductDet ... ey450-4760 The slider and big Effect knob are from a Numark mixer.

Very, very nice. I like the look for both... the oven cleaner method is really labor intensive.

I went the easy route and bought both of mine via styleflip.

Thanks. The black is actually a styleflip. Before I used the aluminum polish on the silver it looked like it had been through a fire so I ordered a styleflip.

Those look great. What Mackie mixer is that?

Edit, I found it, U420. Looks nice and compact.

Yes! 4 stereo ins (handling all 4 outs from each machine) plus a stereo pre aux for effects on each channel! Bliss.

The oven Cleaner method took me only 10 minutes to do. Not labor intensive at all! I did it some years ago. There are pics on this forum

Styleflip puts the orginal layout of Electribe's silkscreen text over the image you choose. Check out them out on the web
