The lastest news from Yamaha

Post by chilly7 »

Jast watching this video make me laught
http://motifator.com/index.php/videos/v ... in_a_flash

when thay say in it that a new Motif Xf will set standarts for fwe years for keyboard manufactors, but thay even did not know that it will be discontinued in a fwe month after relise

but i want to tolk about soething else

today i had a dream, and that what i saw:

After the Namm show Yamaha had emergensy conferense where all Yamaha stuff had the converstation what crupp thay did wich is called Motif Xf

ha-ha-ha

Unlike in Korg case with Kronos where in createing of thouse beuty was involved 90% of music ingeneurs and thay telled what must be done with this workstation, in Yamaha case Motif Xf by 90% was created by Marketing department so it was little space for a new ideas and new technologies..

ha-ha-ha

Of couse no one could say strait that : Motif Xf is crupp, but awrybody agreed that Yamaha need a new Workstation right now

ha-ha-ha

Yamaha hoped that after relise of Motif Xf after one year thay will relise a rack version, jast for the reason the Marketing deparmnet of Yamaha insisted, because thay will get more money. after the rack thay wanted to wait about 2-3 years and thay bring a new workstaion

ha-ha-ha

But befor the Namm show thay even did not know that a new Korg workstation is more then m3 with flash mamory.

ha-ha-ha

So now MotifXf is sicretly discontinued.

ha-ha-ha
All major music shop begin to retern Motif Xf befor it is not to late

ha-ha-ha
Yamaha totaly not ready so thay won't come up with a new worsktation next week or month even thought that thay need it right now because there was almost 0 reserches doone for a new Workstation by Yamaha.

ha-ha-ha
The expectation of a new Yamaha workstation is next Namm Winter show

p.s. well if to speak about my personal human opinion i am fully will be happy that if Yamaha will bring something wich will be better then Kronos but considering thouse facts that the dominant people in Yamaha corporation are marketing deparment i don't expect anything that better from yamaha then Kronos. Thay will jast try to keep the new workstation to much the kronos, nothing more, noting less. but unfortionaly it is sadly, but i I will be happy if i am wrong and Yamaha wil bring something that will blow Kronos. but it is unlikely

p.s. By the way CP1 will also be discontinued

keep tuned for the lastest news from Yamaha!!!
More crupp designed by the Markteting Department are coming!!!

Motif XF sounds better than Oasys and Kronos.
If Yamaha works in a new workstation it could be the best workstation.
OASYS 88 SERIAL Nº 1.301
RADIAS - EXTREME 61 + MOSS
MOTIF XF8 - SUPERNOVA - TRITON RACK - JUNO 106 - JP8080 - BLOFELD

I hope you mean the name "Motif" sounds better than the name "Oasys" or "Kronos" because you're wrong otherwise.
Current Korg Gear: KRONOS 88 (4GB), M50-73 (PS mod), RADIAS-73, Electribe MX, Triton Pro (MOSS, SCSI, CF, 64MB RAM), SQ-64, DVP-1, MEX-8000, MR-1, KAOSSilator, nanoKey, nanoKontrol, 3x nanoPad 2, 3x DS1H, 7x PS1, FC7 (yes Korg, NOT Yamaha).

Is the Motif XF discontinued now? hmm I was going to upgrade my XS to XF, I love that machine. Not only for the noise it makes, but for the workflow I have on it. Guess I'll wait to XX

They can't discontiue for atleast 2 years.... But they cut cut prices on the instock motifs and present a new high end workstation, different technologies and different names..

Yamaha has a brand new product allready developed, but whne Korg wouldn't release their new Workstation last year they had to release something as the Motif XS was almost out of stock.

So Yamaha decided to release the Motif XF and wayt till Korg/or Roland released their new problem and then improve uppon that...

I think Yamaha will strike back hard next year at NAMM and count their losses for now, after all they still have their loyal fanbase to sell Motifs and T4 is still ahead of competition for rich home players...

Akos is on his way with a big stick, he'll punish you for being such a naxxxty boy.

If I was you, I'd quickly upgrade your signature.

Come on, at least upgrade it to Kronos standards!

Man, fix your English! Besides, it's not like the Kronos is anything new, it's just a rehash of the Oasys which Korg released 5 years ago already.

Just a small detail - can someone provide a link to an official Yamaha statement saying that any of the current Motif products are discontinued? Yes I know the XF is a later model than the XS and that Stephen Kay's Karma 3 Motif product will not work with the XS.

But how does the OP justify the title of this thread? How is "a dream" in any way latest news from Yamaha, especially when Yamaha are currently at NAMM with Stephen Kay promoting Karma 3 on the Motif XF.

Have I missed something?

Thanks,
Rob

Did u actualy have read?
I seid it was sicretly discontinued!

No one will say now atlist offiscialy that Yamaha discontinued Motif Xf already.

because it will mean that Yamaha will lose iven the most loyal and the most stupid castumers, which still prefore Motif Xf to Kronos.

Because it will mean that Yamaha did a crupp and thay obended all it's customers if thay will say that it is already discontinued after fwe month when it was relised

p.s.
yamaha will oficialy state that Motif Xf is discontinued only on next next Winter namm when their new Workstation will be ready to be shiped to the doors and also thay won't keep Motif name anymore, thay will call it with different name because Motif name has a bad reputation already

That's not what Stephen Kay said!

The KARMA software works with BOTH the XS and the XF.

Hi chilly7,

Yes I can read, thanks. What you posted doesn't make it easy for me to believe though.

For example, I wonder why your OP starts "I had a dream, and this is what I saw". I mean that's not the best way to earn a lot of street cred, is it? Also with only a few dozen posts to your name, how is it that you get a direct line to the Yamaha inner sanctum, when the rest of us mortals have to pray unceasingly for months on end before we even get offered a cup of Japanese tea?

And then if you are party to the Yamaha inner sanctum, then why would you make fun of Yamaha in the way you wrote in your OP? Hey man, I am a direct competitor to Yamaha, but I still respect them and would not behave towards them in the way you have done in your OP.

So, your OP just doesn't add up. Keep taking the Lithium Carbonate, man.

Regards,
Rob

Hi synthoid,

My mistake. Yes Karma 3 is for both the XS and XF.
Even more reason why the OP in this thread makes no sense.

Regards,
Rob

Excu-se-me Mr, but you are jumpin' out of circle here, "Soul" ..mmm, Kronos comes with "Soul" ?...or in a Box?...Dude, the "Soul" is what you do with the instrument not the instrument itself, we have a lot of nerds full of Synths, VST's and hardware but they can't play a song or a good chord, otherwise you can see lot of talent guys making great tracks and song with just one old Synth, the "Soul", the "creativity" and the Music is inside us, not part of Kronos, XF or Oasys.KRONOS DOES NOT INCLUDES SOUL-------
But the new Yamaha Motif XF comes with a lovely and inspirational "Spirit"... :)
