Korg M50 Tap Tempo

I have a Korg M50, iam having trouble with the Tap Tempo, when I set it in 3/4 time and start recording. after a few bars I get a tick on the 1st beat and then silence on the 2nd beat and then 2 ticks on the rest of the bar which results in a 4/4 bar and ruines the whole composition. maybe you recorded parts of your composition in different measure-sizes? don't know the english word) time?
if your record few midi channels in different times, than you'll get unmatching) well i experienced that recently) but i do not use sequencer that much) maybe somebody else can find another reason for this.
