PC/MAC tools to edit .EMX or .SYSEX files

hi all,
i am looking for a tool to edit with my computer patterns and songs coming out of my emx and then being able to send it back with the few modifications i would have done. it does not have to be a music notation software, a convert2text tool will do. it is just i can't figure how to read sysex files dumped from my emx.
midi quest seemed the perfect piece of software but unfortunately the emx is unsupported.
