from my atari to my emx ?

hi guys.
i used to make music on my atari a long (long) time ago, and i would love to reuse some of the tunes i made on my st with my emx.
my atari is gone (garage sell) a long time ago, so all i have left are my .mod files that i can convert to .mid / .ym / .snd or whatever using an emulator or some PC tools.
so here is my question: how could i send these files to my emx ? i tried to import my midi file in ableton and then midi track by midi track send it to the emx, but it is all a bit out of sync. I tried to fix the sync but with my emx as slave for some reasons it is not accurate (but with the emx set as master, it works perfectly). Could i convert somehow the midi files to sysex pack and then use sysex librarian to send it to my emx ?
also, of course the original st sounds are not in the files, is there a way to get back envelops / settings... to get a sound close to the original ones ?
thanks

If your trying to get the audio just like it was in the Atari, you might be better just sampling the track/patterns from the program running in the emulator directly into the EMX, rather than try to get the midi formats to work and then re-create similar type sounds?

thanks for your ideas. but i am trying to make my emx do that without a computer, so that wont be a solution to my problem. i have send successfully through midi my patterns to the emx after some tweaking, i am working now on making those square oscillators sound like the yamaha soundchip...quite a challenge after all
