KPro - BPM upgrade suggestion..I wish!

When running from an external MIDI clock on the KPro...
Why not have the "Tap Tempo" button display the current clock tempo - rather than the (rather obvious) msg of "EXT"?
As a work-around, why not "EXT - XXX", with XXX being the current MIDI clock tempo. Seems reasonable to me and not too difficult to implement.
If I'm talking shizz here - other more experienced musicians - please let me know what I'm not getting about this, possibly amazing, bit of kit - cause I'm starting to feel like I only come on here to bitch about what the KPro doesn't do
